Betty L. Calvert, age 86, of Worthington, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at home. She was born in Worthington, IN on September 22, 1933, the daughter of Ben Barton & Sarah “Annie” (Wells) Barton.
She was a graduate of Worthington High School. She worked at General Electric for 23 years. She loved gardening and spending time with her family.
Betty is survived by her loving children, Jim Calvert of Las Vegas, NV, Donald Calvert, Jr. of Louisville, KY and Susan (Carl, Jr.) Hutcherson of Worthington; grandchildren, Lucas Calvert, Michael Calvert and Halie Hutcherson.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Calvert, Sr.; granddaughter, Sarah; parents; brothers, Richard Barton and Harold “Junior” Barton and infant sister, Ioma Gail Barton.
Graveside service will be held at Worthington Cemetery at 2:30 pm on Monday, August 3, 2020.
Private visitation will be held for the family.
