The Linton Community Development Corporation (LCDC), the non-profit manager and operator of the Linton Music Festival, is proud to announce an evening of great musical entertainment at the Linton- Stockton High School Auditeria on Saturday, June 4th, 2011.
The evening will feature headliner The Roys. A modern bluegrass duo based out of Nashville, The Roys have just released their brand-new CD, Lonesome Whistle, which recently landed at #7 on the Billboard Bluegrass Album Chart. The disc features their latest single, a tribute to the life of the miner, called, “Coal Minin’ Man” with its video now on the ballot for Great American County TV’s Top 20 Country Countdown.

It looks like we may be getting a new stop sign, some handicapped parking downtown, and a new manager for Sunset Park. The council is also looking towards creating a youth sports area.
