Mildred L. Back, 90, of Odon, Indiana, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at her residence. She was born on April 25, 1930 in Monroe County, Indiana to Delmar and Cindy (Wiles) Skinner. Mildred married her husband, Vernon Back, on September 5, 1947.
Mildred was a homemaker and she loved taking care of her husband, her children and her home. She was loved by those who knew her and she will be missed.
Family left to cherish the memory of Mildred include: son, Brian (Elaine) Back of McKinney, TX; daughter, Patrice (Robert) Madrid of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Vernon Back; son, Michael Back; sisters, Clara Hampton and Carolyn Emery.
The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Helping Hearts Hospice, 1402 Grand Ave. Washington, IN 47501.
There will be a private, family viewing on Monday, June 1 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon. Mildred will be laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield at a later date. There will be no public services.
