Marilyn Kay Boruff 84, of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon.
Born January 21, 1937 in Greene County, she was the daughter of Austin M. and Thelma Avon (Calvert) Sharr.
She worked as a cook at Bloomfield High School and NSWC Crane. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include: her children, Anthony Jones and Elaine Bond (Bill) both of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Matthew Jones (Britnee), Alexandria St. Arnaud (Chris), Jared Bond and Meaghan Bond; two great grandchildren, Haidyn St. Arnaud and Noah St. Arnaud; two sisters, Velta Abel of Bloomfield and Cathy Anderson (Jerrel) of Solsberry; brothers, William Sharr (Pat) and Donald Sharr (Rita) both of Bloomfield; sister-in-law, Joan Sharr of Bloomington; and her step daughters, Debi Goodman (Ron) and Lori Brown (Butch) both of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Boruff in 2015, two brothers, Gene and Joe Sharr, a sister, Carol Sharr and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Antioch Christian Church in Bloomfield, with Rev. Jack Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery.
Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Antioch Cemetery.
