Helen Freida Hash, 85, of Bloomfield, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at IU Health Hospice House.
Born December 30, 1934 in Linton, she was the daughter of Ealey Edward and Exie Irene (Cunningham) May.
She was a homemaker and attended the Sylvania Wesleyan Church.
Surviving relatives include: one son, Russell Hash of Bloomfield; one sister, Marcella Koester of Valparaiso; a great granddaughter, Ashley Slater; and a son-in-law, Carl Slater of Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan Dewayne Hash on September 7, 1997, three daughters, Barbara Jean Slater, Debrah Hash and Brenda Hash, ten siblings, one grandson, Scottie Slater and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
Public visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Masks and social distancing are required.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
