Ellis “Tub” Wayne Bixler, 68, of Spencer, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at the Owen Valley Health Campus in Spencer. Tub was born on January 10, 1952 to Ernest Pete Bixler and Martha Agnus (Butcher) Bixler. Tub retired from R.C.A. after 30 plus years and also worked at IMI as a concrete truck driver. Tub belonged to the Spencer Moose Lodge.
Tub is survived by his children, Kevin Wayne Bixler, Christina (Joseph) Crider, grandaughter, Shyanah Rane Bixler, siblings, David Leon (Grace) Bixler, Leafy “Peg” (Stephen) Bixler, Raymond (Lisa) Bixler, Ella (Ron) Neibel, and many nieces and nephews.
Tub was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Martha “Marthie” Deem, Shirley Mae Bixler, Elvin Bixler, Ernest Michael Bixler, Margaret “Annie” Allen, Stanley Joe Bixler, Russell Bixler, sister-in-law, Grace Bixler,
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Friday, December 11, 2020 at the West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home, 105 N. Montgomery Street, Spencer.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
Due to State Restrictions concerning Covid 19, social distancing and mask will be enforced to enter the funeral home and only fifty (50) people are allowed in at one time.
