Cheryl Burnham

Cheryl Lynn (Hendricks) Burnham, 72, of Spencer entered eternal life on October 9, 2020. She was born on February 25, 1948 to Harvey Darrell Hendricks and Betty (Norman) Hendricks. Cheryl married Mark Barton Burnham, Jr. on September 2, 1968. She has one daughter, Lori Lee (Burnham) Warner.

Cheryl was a kind and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Cheryl was cherished by many and known as a prayer warrior. Although hampered by her physical ailments, she could always be counted on to be an intercessor in prayer. Cheryl’s passion laid with little babies and for many years she volunteered with the Crisis Pregnancy Center. There she mentored many young ladies by talking to them, praying with them, and sometimes just holding their babies, which she loved to do. Cheryl loved her son-in-law Norman Clinton Warner III and often was heard to say she couldn’t have picked a better son-in-law if she would have done it herself. Cheryl’s constant joy was her grandchildren, Bryan Cory Warner, Clinton Brandt Warner, and Brandon Lee Warner. She doted on the three constantly and they were privileged to spend their time prior to school days with her. Cheryl had the joy of three great-grandchildren, Savanna Marie Warner, Colton Lee Warner, and Henry Reineke Warner.

Cheryl is survived by her mother, Betty Hendricks; daughter, Lori Warner and husband Norman; grandchildren, Bryan (Stephanie), Brandt (Katlin Ryan), and Brandon; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vicki (Hendricks) Pruett and Kelli (Hendricks) Hoadley; and two brothers Michael Hendricks and Douglas Hendricks.

She entered eternal life with her husband Mark and was preceded in death by her father and her sister Linda Kay (Hendricks) Jenkins.

Cheryl was truly loved and will be missed by many.
