From the Office of the Indiana Secretary of State:
INDIANAPOLIS- (November 2, 2026) – With Election Day just hours away, Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales is encouraging all eligible Hoosiers to make their voices heard by casting their ballots in the 2026 General Election on Tuesday, November 3.
Secretary Morales reminds voters that every vote matters and that participating in elections is one of the most important responsibilities of citizenship. As Hoosiers prepare to head to the polls, the Secretary of State’s Office remains committed to supporting safe, secure, transparent, and accessible elections across Indiana.
Polling locations statewide will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time on Tuesday, November 3. Voters are encouraged to confirm their polling locations ahead of time and bring an acceptable photo ID. Trained poll workers will be available to assist voters and help ensure a smooth and efficient voting experience.
“Tomorrow is Election Day, and I encourage every eligible Hoosier to get out and vote! As a naturalized American citizen, the right to vote is sacred to me. It is a privilege I will never take for granted. Indiana is prepared, our election officials are ready, and I am confident in the security and integrity of our elections. Tomorrow let’s show up and vote, Hoosiers,” said Diego Morales, Indiana Secretary of State.
Throughout 2026, Secretary Morales has once again traveled to all 92 Indiana counties, meeting with county clerks, election officials and community leaders to strengthen partnerships, discuss election preparedness and encourage voter participation. These visits reflect his continued commitment to supporting local election administrators and ensuring Hoosiers can cast their ballots with confidence.
Secretary Morales is also reminding voters to allow extra time at polling locations, as higher turnout may result in longer lines. Under Indiana law, anyone in line at their polling location by 6 p.m. local time will be permitted to vote.
Hoosiers can visit IndianaVoters.com to verify their voter registration, find their polling location and view a sample ballot before heading to the polls.
