This month’s City Council meeting was a quick one with a fairly short agenda. Items covered included a proposal by Node 1 Technology to form a partnership with the City’s Miner Broadband internet service, approval of the City’s annual contact with the Greene County Humane Society, and an update on the Stone Creek Homes project that is currently under way to bring a new manufactured housing plant to Linton’s former Sunbeam chair factory.
Mayor Tom Jones also introduced Linton’s new Utilities manager, Shawn Clifford.
Shawn graduated from Linton-Stockton High School in 1999 and earned an engineering degree from Purdue University.
