Made-in-Greene-County Showcase

GCTAB Announces  Made-in-Greene County  Event

The Greene County Tourism Advisory Board (GCTAB) is proud to announce an upcoming event to showcase the varied talent and handiwork of residents from across Greene County.  On Saturday, September 29th, GCTAB will host its first “Made-in-Greene-County” Showcase at the White River Valley School Gymnasium.  The doors will be open to shoppers from 10am to 5pm.  The event will feature an outdoor farmers market and is limited only to vendors who make their products in Greene County.  GCTAB encourages everyone to come and check out what Greene County has to offer and maybe take home that special gift for the upcoming holidays or something to spruce your home up for the fall harvest season.

One of the unique features of this event is that all vendor booths are completely free.  Booth space is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis and all interested vendors must submit a Vendor Registration Form to request a booth reservation and all registration forms must be submitted no later than Thursday, September 20th at 4pm.  You will find a PDF copy of the Vendor Registration Form, but interested Greene County Producers can also pick up their Vendor Registration Forms at the Linton Public Library, Bloomfield Public Library, or the Greene County Foundation office.  Completed forms can also be dropped off at any one of these locations or they can be scanned and sent to David Benefiel @ solutions.dab@gmail.com.

Attached you will find a PDF copy of a flier.  Please print this off, make copies, and distribute as necessary to help us get the word out.  Also, please forward this on to others, especially potential vendors.  We will also accept vendors who are non-profit organizations/groups that want to have a small bake sale, so please encourage them to sign up as vendors as well.

GCTAB hopes that the “Made-in-Greene-County” Showcase will bring much success to our many talented Greene County producers and plan to make this an annual event.  For more information regarding the event, GCTAB, or Greene County Tourism, please contact David Benefiel @solutions.dab@gmail.com or Cheryl Helms @ (812) 825-5004.
