Richard Morley

Richard Howard Morley, 70, of Bloomington, In died Thursday July 30 at IU Health hospital in Bloomington. He was born in Greencastle, In August 9, 1949 to Delzo and Nedra [Branham] Morley. He graduated with honors from Spencer High School in 1967, Indiana University in 1971 and continued his education throughout most of his life. He was a gifted musician and performed with his brothers for many of his younger years and also played with The Poor Boys band when he was in high school. His love of music was a lifelong gift which he lovingly shared with others his whole life.

His professional career accomplishments were numerous and included: Former CEO at Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Executive Director, Mt. SAC Foundation at Mt. San Antonio College, Former Executive Director of the Foundation at Irvine Valley College, Former CEO at SHPE, Inc. and working at Mt. SAC .

Richard was preceded in death by his parents and his dearly loved younger brother Jerry D. Morley. Survivors include his brothers, David and Larry, nieces Katy Werczynski [Mark], Emilie Trueblood [Keith], Sarah Volrich and nephews Andy and Nathan [Sabrina] Morley.

Richard lived a life full of sharing his love, laughter, and talents with others and will always be remembered with a smile on his face and a song in his heart. Both are fitting tributes to a great man and a wonderful brother and friend.
