Ralph Dailey

Ralph J. Dailey, 96, of Worthington, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021. Ralph was born in Lyons, Indiana on June 2, 1924 to Owen Lefil Dailey and Nellie Ann (Kates) Dailey. Ralph married Margaret (Hart) Dailey on April 23, 1950, and together they raised a wonderful, loving family. He retired from Allisons Transmission of Indianapolis after 32 years and belonged to the U.A.W. #933 Local. Ralph and Margaret belonged to the Saron United Church of Christ in Linton, and the Wabash Cannonballs Camping Club.

Ralph is survived by his children, Lois (Harry) Jerolleman, Brenda (Dennis) Conaway, Deborah Dailey, grandchild, Siobhan (Jeff) Mewhinney, siblings, Lucille Jacobs, Kenneth Dailey, Norma Nolting, Linda Haseman, and many nieces and nephews.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, wife, children, William Dailey, Byron Dailey, siblings, Leta Dailey Hayden, Alfred Dailey, brother-in-laws, Noah Hayden, Bill Haseman, Clayton Jacobs, Ernest Nolting, and sister-in-laws, Moya Dailey and Marilyn Dailey.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, 140 East Vincennes Street, Linton. Pastor Jeff Fulk will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday, at the funeral home in Linton.

Due to the State of Indiana Covid 19 restrictions, social distancing will be practiced and mask must be worn to enter the funeral home. A limit of fifty (50) people will be allowed in the facility at one time.

Donations may be made to the Saron United Church of Christ, through the funeral home.
