Michael “Mike” Eugene Lannan, age 78, of Linton, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020 at Saint Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. He was born on February 24, 1942, in Loogootee Indiana, the son of Sam and Dola Lannan.
He loved farming and raising sheep and was an avid business man in the town of Linton. Mike loved the Lord, was involved at Saint Peter’s Church, and loved life, his wife and family.
Mike is survived by his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 60 years, Donna Lannan; children, Lynette (Charles) Coffey, Blaine (Beth) Lannan, Jo (Kelly) Lannan and Jarman (Paulette) Lannan; 16 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Norbert Lannan; sister, Kay Lannan; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws; brothers, Hubert Lannan, Merle Lannan, Bernie Lannan and sisters, Lois, Millie Jones, and Rita Mae.
The family would like to thank Dr. Brian Cox for his compassionate care, friendship and always being available to care for him.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in Linton at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, with Father Simon Natha officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 5-8 P.M. with Rosary at 8 P.M., and at the church on Wednesday from 9 A.M. until the time of Mass.
