Lance Dolen Wilgus, age 67 of Linton, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at home.
He was born on December 16, 1953, the son of Bill & Laquita Overshiner.
He was a free spirit who loved being a stay at home dad to his girls. He had a passion for music and was a very gifted at playing his guitars. He also loved playing video games, spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed nature and staring at the star filled skies at night.
Lance was what some would call an “old soul” and spent numerous hours conteplating the meaning of life and was cosmically beautiful.
Lance is survived by his daughters, Hali (Gary) Coffman, Kayla (Dylan) Hutcherson, Dani (Jeremy Stinebaugh) Darrah, Candice Wilgus Harrison, and Janell (Jeremy) Kerr.
His sister, Raven Huffman and brothers, Frank Killian and Steve Sexton. He was also fortunate to have numerous grandchildren including Jazmyn Clark, Qwentyn Clark, Vera Ball, Gary Coffman, Caleigh Darrah, Braxton Stinebaugh, Jaydon Stinebaugh, Briauna Stinbaugh, Brooklynn Mayberry, Jeremy Cole, Sebastian Kerr and Leiandra Kerr.
He also had 4 great grandchildren: Lilliana Cole, Jeremy Allen Cole III, Gabriella Cole and Harlee Cole.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved lady, Vera Darrah.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
