Wilhelmina “Mina” Lehman, age 92, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 3:31 am on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Greene County General Hospital. She was born in Linton, IN on July 6, 1928, the daughter of Wayne & Lillie (Hollingsworth) Thomas.
She was a 1946 graduate of Linton Stockton High School. She worked as a laborer in a factory setting for several years. Mina enjoyed babysitting children, taking care of others and watching her birds but most importantly she loved spending time with her family.
Wilhelmina is survived by her son, Tom Lehman; daughter, Susan Garwood; granddaughter, Mary Ann (Ehren) Baxley-Pierle and grandson, William “Bill” (Casey) Lehman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Squirrelly” Lehman; brothers, Jesse Thomas, Muriel Thomas and Wendell “Doc” Thomas.
Funeral service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, with Pastor Dave Tyra officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
