Tom Floyd

Tom Floyd, 94, of Bloomfield passed away Sunday June 13, 2021 at Ketcham Memorial Center in Odon.

Born June 12, 1927 in Greene County the son of Henry Harrison Floyd and Ruby (Foster) Floyd.

Tom worked at Crane for thirty-two years and seven months, he owned and operated Floyd’s Small Engine Shop for many years, Tom was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Crane VFW and the Ore Branch Church of Christ.

Surviving relatives include his nieces, DeAnn (Paul) Norris, Jane Floyd (Bob), Jane Overby, Cheryl (Richard) Vanpelt, Judith Floyd, his nephews, Loren Neidigh, Larry Neidigh, Darrell Neidigh, Steve (Kyla) Neidigh, Fred (Ruth Ann) Floyd.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Verl, Ray, Walter, and Lesley Floyd, Alberta Neidigh, Evelyn Floyd and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call from 12 P.M. Thursday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Funeral Home with Joshua Riggins officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery.

The family wishes any memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association in Tom’s name.
