Thomas Warren Mann Sr., 81, of Spencer passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospice House. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 5, 1939 to Harvey and Ida May (Martin) Mann.
Thomas graduated from Decatur Central High School. He served in the United States Army. He married the love of his life Jean Werbesky on April 15, 1961. Thomas retired from Drees Home Construction. He attended the Spencer Christian Church. Thomas enjoyed local craft shows and farmers markets. He loved fishing, bowling and watching his favorite driver Jeff Gordon in NASCAR.
Thomas is survived by his wife Jean Mann; three sons, Michael George Mann (Gaynell), Thomas Warren Mann Jr and Anthony Stroder Mann; brother, Richard Mann; sister, Carol Lewis; six grandchildren, Sarah Jane Mann, Jeffery Scott Mann, Kayla Marie Mann, Mallary Evan Mann, Lucas Mann and Jessica Mann; one great granddaughter, Rilynn Hall; and several nieces and nephews..
He was preceded in death by his parents, and four siblings Mary Bailey, Wanda Murray, Harvey Mann Jr. and Larry Mann.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Allan E. Lewis officiating. Military rites will be presented by the Owen County Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
