Roger Dale Phegley, 60, of Linton, Indiana passed away, surrounded by his family, at his residence on Sunday, January 31, 2021. He was born on September 21, 1960 in Linton to John and Berneice (Kendall) Phegley.
Roger worked for the City of Linton tree crew for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and gardening.
Those left to cherish the memories of Roger include: his mother, Berneice Phegley; three brothers, Steve Phegley, Tim Phegley (Dick Brown), Jerry (Jill) Phegley all of Linton; three sisters, Jonah (Duane) Collenbaugh of Dugger, Jenny Landis of Linton, Cindy Todd of Trafalgar, IN; Nieces and Nephews, Jarod (Samantha) Collenbaugh of Linton, Devin Collenbaugh of Dugger, Abbie (Chris) Miller of Indianapolis, Alexis (Jonathan) Burton of Columbus, Keshia Buskirk, Zachary Phegley, Zoie Phegley and Austin Landis all of Linton; also survived by several great nieces and great nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his father, John Phegley.
Funeral services for Roger will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Meng Family Funeral Home, Anderson-Poindexter Chapel in Linton, with Tim Ferree officiating. Roger will be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday.
In compliance with state regulations, social distancing and face masks are required by all attending. Additional regulations are allowing only fifty (50) individuals in the funeral home at one time.
