
Nancy Sue (Goldman) Cooper, 85, of Panama City Beach, Florida and formerly of Dugger, Indiana passed away Monday, May 29, 2023 at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Hospital in Panama City, Florida.
She was born at home in Dugger Indiana. The daughter of Kenneth H. Goldman and Margaret Lucille Spinks Goldman.
Nancy retired from the Greene Co. General Hospital in Linton, Indiana and formerly worked at Dugger Union High School. She also drove a school bus in California.
Nancy was a member of Gulf Beach Baptist Church, Panama City Beach and the Eastern Stars.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Guy Marshall and George Cooper, an infant son, two brothers; James Goldman and Robert Goldman and her sister, Doris Jackson.
Survivors include, three sons; Paul Cooper (Betty) of Dyer, Arkansas, Ted Cooper (Pamela) of Panama City Beach, Florida, Robert Cooper (Danita) of Sullivan, Indiana and two daughters; Julie Weilersbacher (Don) of Dyer, Arkansas and Veletta Sue Taylor of Louisville, Kentucky, Eleven grandchildren; Aubrey (Chad), Jeff, Rachel (Kyle), Stacey, Ashley, Tabitha, Marissa, Kaylee, Kassidy (Cory), Jacob (Paige) and Nicholas, and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1:00PM Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana with Bro. Buford Smith officiating. Burial in the Dugger Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until 1:00PM Saturday. Flowered dresses and Hawaiian shirts are welcome especially if they have flamingos.
