Michael Kevin Boulanger SR, 74, went to be with the lord on May 29, 2024. He was born November 8, 1949 in Los Angeles, California to James and Margaret Boulanger.
Mike went into the Army at the age of 18 years old. He was drafted and spent the next two years fighting for our country. He was employed at Clark Equipment for 17 years in management. Then he worked for A&A Ready Mix in California for 6 years before becoming a Veteran’s Representative for Work One in Linton-Bedford-Bloomington, Indiana for 26 years from which he retired. After he retired, he spent his time with his wife, kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan Boulanger; his two sons, Jami (Michelle) Boulanger and Michael Boulanger JR, both of Monroe County; four grandchildren, Megan (Jeremie) Wittgren, Dusten Boulanger, both of Monroe County, Krysten (Aidan) Boulanger-Williams of Palm Beach County, Florida, and Kyle Boulanger of Greene County; six great-grandchildren, Nick, Connor, Jase, Bella, Bentley, and Sophia; his brother, Anthony Boulanger of Arizona; sisters, Peggy Fonceca, Georgia Boulanger, both of Greene County, Mary Pacheco and sister-in-law, Linda Grow, both of California. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and important people who became family, Shelley Frilot, Michelle Marino, Deena Wickliffe, Sam Wickliffe, Cheryll Fallon, and many more; his Doxie companion of 14 years, Breezy, who continues to mourn his loss.
Mike is preceded in death by: his parents, James and Margaret Boulanger; siblings, Sandra Gissert, Jimmie Joe Boulanger, Cathy Sabedra, Terri Boulanger, Bobbi Boulanger, Denny Boulanger, Steven Boulanger and his nephew, Joseph Boulanger.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Anderson-Poindexter Chapel, 89 NW C Street, Linton, IN, with military rites presented by the Linton American Legion Post #22.
Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
