Martha Mae (Kelsey) Roark, 79, of Odon, Indiana, passed away at her residence, with her family by her side on Monday, July 19, 2021. She was born in Odon on July 15, 1942 to Paul & Martha H. (Dove) Kelsey. Mae married the love of her life, Virgil D. Roark, on November 27, 1960.
Mae was a member of Odon Christian Church. She worked at RCA, Crane and as a homemaker. Mae enjoyed sewing, crafting and loved collecting antiques. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Family left to cherish the memory of Mae include: son, Brad (Renee) Roark of Odon; daughter, Cindy (Tony) Martin of Switz City; grandchildren, Audra (Barney) O’Neill, Ashton Northcutt, McKenzie (Brandt) Lawyer and Cole Roark; five great-grandchildren and brother, Terry (Grace) Kelsey of Odon.
Mae was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Virgil Roark; brothers, Stevie Ray Kelsey and Kenny Kelsey; and Ashton’s husband, James Northcutt.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 23, 2021 at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon with Bro. Richard Crabtree officiating. Mae will be laid to rest in Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 22 and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to North Daviess Dollars for Scholars. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
