Margaret Louise English, 81, of Bloomfield, passed away on June 29, 2020. Margaret was born in Greene County on October 24, 1938 to Willard and Marie Holtsclaw. She was a graduate of Solsberry High School.
Margaret married Howard R. English on July 30, 1958 and was married for 61 years. Margaret along with her husband Howard were the owners of M&H Electric and English Constructions for 44 years.
Margaret was a homemaker and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Ridgeport Community Church and Gideons International Auxillary.
She was a gentle and kind woman who loved God and her family. She was an accomplished pianist and accordion player and played at Ridgeport Community Church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include husband, Howard English; sister Mary Ellen English (Charles); brother Claude Holtsclaw; son Steve English (Annette); daughters Donetta Held (Rick) and Beverly Hartman (Marty); grandchildren Jessica Lockman (Kyle); Michael Hartman; Brandon Hartman; Ashton English; step grandchildren Katie Held, and Zach Held; great granddaughters Makyla, Aria, and Mariah Lockman.
Visitation will be held at Ridgeport Community Church, 1575 Ridgeport Lane, Bloomfield, IN, on Thursday, July 2 from 4 to 8 PM and Friday, July 3 from 10 to 11AM with services to follow at 11AM.
