Larry Martin

Larry A. Martin, 80, of French Lick, Indiana, went to Heaven, on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. He was born on April 21, 1941 in Warrensburg, Missouri to Robert Hugh and Fleta A. (Alworth) Martin. Larry married the love of his life, Neal Joyce (Clore) Martin on December 31, 1974.

Larry was a minister and member at Central Barren United Methodist Church in French Lick, where he preached his final sermon on December 5, 2021. He graduated from Louisville Bible College on May 31, 1981 and had been a minister of several churches in his 40 years of ministry to include, Red Quarry Christian Church, French Lick. Larry enjoyed all aspects of the ministry field and spending time with friends and family. He also spent several years farming.

Family left to cherish the memory of Larry include: four sons, William Robert Martin of Virginia, Doug Ingram of Florida, Martin Ingram of Kentucky and Jim Ingram of French Lick; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Neal Joyce Martin.

There will be a memorial service at Beechwood Christian Church in French Lick on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Larry will be laid to rest at Central Barren United Methodist Church Cemetery in French Lick.
