Karen E. Roark, 65, of Brookston, formerly of Spencer, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, May 28, 2021. Karen was born in Bloomington, Indiana on May 19, 1956 to Jerry F. Dyer and Lois Yvonne (Rawley) Dyer.
Karen graduated from Owen Valley High School in 1975 and enjoyed being a waitress at Brookston for many years. Karen enjoyed watching movies and reading Stephen King novels.
Karen is survived by her mother, brother, Ernie (Betty) Dyer, beloved uncle, Garold (Shirley) Rawley, nephews, Jerry Dyer, Kerry Dyer and many other relatives and friends.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, husband, William Roark, and nephew Matthew Dyer.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
