Joseph Franklin Gilbert Neal, 6, of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
Born September 13, 2014 in Linton, he was the son of Johnathon Wayne Neal and Stephanie Ann Catt.
Joseph was a Kindergarten student at Bloomfield schools who enjoyed playing video games and fire trucks.
Surviving relatives include: his father, Johnathon Neal of Bloomfield; his mother, Stephanie Catt of Vincennes; three brothers, Johnathon Robert Neal, Joshua Hunter Scott Neal and Lawrence Lifford; paternal grandparents, John and Lisa Neal of Bloomfield; maternal grandparents, Shirley and Raymond Worland of Lyons; and his aunts and uncles, Jamie Neal and Evan Kerr, Joseph and Faye Catt and Renee and Steve Schpmeyer.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill Catt and a paternal great grandmother, Dixie Shuffitt.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Public visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to Riley Hospital for Children.
