Jeffrey T. Cast, Sr., age 58, of Freedom, passed away at 1:20 P.M. on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Tipton on December 4, 1962, the son of Jerry and Betty (Bevel) Cast.
Jeffrey was a 1981 graduate of Tipton High School. Throughout Jeffrey’s life, he worked as Fire Chief and also served fifteen years as Town Marshall in Atlanta, Indiana. He worked at J.W. Jones setting up rock crusher plants and rebuilding rock crushers. His final work was in Pekin, Illinois where Jeffrey was a supervisor at Superior.
He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, raising birds, spending time in the woods, and was very family oriented.
He is survived by his wife whom he married Oct. 15, 1995, Sherry A. (Isenhower) Cast, a son, Jeffrey T. Cast, Jr., two daughters, Jessica Cast and Selena Williams, two brothers, Jerry and Jay Cast, and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Tommy Tarrance, and a brother Jim Cast.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at his home in Freedom.
