Helen Jeanne Navel, age 71, of Bowling Green, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was born in Linton on November 1, 1948 the daughter of Otis & Martha (Wenning) Navel.
She was a graduate of Linton Stockton High School. She worked as a hairdresser most of her life and also sold real estate for many years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Linton and of the Ashboro Genealogy Society. She loved to bake and spend time with her family.
Jeanne is survived by her sons, Troy Barrix of Bowling Green, Joe (Mary) Barrix, Jr. of Linton and Nicholas (Stacey) Colbert of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jordan Sharp, Jess Barrix, Dom Lockman and JT Colbert; 6 great grandchildren and her sister, Patty Wiseman.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Susan Morecraft and brother, Randy Navel.
Private services will be observed by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
