Carolyn T. Johnson, 78, of Loogootee, Indiana, passed from this life, on Monday, January 8, 2024 at Sycamore Care Strategies in Loogootee. She was born on March 23, 1945 in Washington, Indiana to Frank and Ruth (Caress) Thompson. Carolyn married her loving husband of 52 years, Greg Johnson on June 19, 1971.
Carolyn loved being a schoolteacher before retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and the American Sewing Guild. Carolyn enjoyed sewing, traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Family left to cherish the memories of Carolyn include: her husband, Greg Johnson; one daughter, Erin (Joe) Bateman; grandchildren, Delani and Brylee Bateman.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services to honor the life of Carolyn will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Fairview Cemetery in Elnora with Ed Frost officiating.
