The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is now accepting applications for Deputy Sheriff positions, offering a competitive base salary of $62,443 along with a full benefits package. Interested applicants must apply by 4:00 PM on July 11th to be considered.
In addition to the base salary, the position includes PTO, retirement benefits, healthcare coverage, a take-home vehicle, paid training, and tiered longevity pay. Lateral applicants—those with prior law enforcement experience—will receive special consideration during the hiring process.
Minimum qualifications include:
A high school diploma or GED A valid Indiana driver’s license and clean driving record No criminal history At least 21 years of age Ability to pass a physical agility test
