After the rear wall began to collapse, the former Roosevelt Mission building was slated for demolition by the City of Linton. First, it was brick-by-brick to prevent any damage to adjoining buildings. The Lintonian provided a livestream of the tear-down when the big machinery moved in to remove the historic building, and it also covered the history in a separate article.
