Shirley Ault, 85, of Spencer passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Owen Valley Health Campus. She was born in Elmwood Place, Ohio on October 15, 1935 to Herschel and Alpha (Delk) White.
Shirley attended Liberty High School. She married the love of her life, Joseph Ault on April 5, 1963. Shirley was a licensed dietician and head of dietary at Turtle Creek Convalescence Home in Franklin, Indiana. She was a member of Mt. Olivet Christian Church. Shirley loved fishing, mushroom hunting, gardening, reading and word search puzzles.
Shirley is survived by her five children, Billie Fair (Rebecca), Linda Baker (Ray), Joseph Ault II (Pam), Terry Fair and Sherri Callahan; sister, Alma Joyce Haste; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph Ray Ault, and two brothers John “Jack” White and Archie Paul White.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 11, 2021 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Bill Williams officiating. Interment will take place at Chambersville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin, Indiana.
