Robert Pataconi-Rehner, 96, of Bloomfield passed away Wednesday October 6, 2021 at home.
Born April 23, 1925 in Iron Mountain, Michigan the son of Alessandro and Giovanna (Giovannotti) Pataconi.
Bobby was an accomplished artist, a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago, co-founder and board member of the Shawnee Theater, a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church and American Legion Post # 196.
Surviving relatives include his children, Michelle Bensman (Angie Kirts), Ed (Marie) Bensman, his two granddaughters, Julia and Maclaine and his niece, Rosemarie (Leonard) Meyer.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife Maryann on January 22, 2015; three brothers: Rudolph, William, and Joseph, three sisters: Minnie, Elda and Yolanda and his parents.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday October 23rd, 2021 at Holy Name Catholic Church in Bloomfield with Father Ackerman officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield.
The family wishes any memorial donations be made to the Shawnee Theater in Robert’s name.
