Nancy Ann East, age 83, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 6:35 am on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at I U Health, Bloomington. She was born in Bedford, IN on January 3, 1937, the daughter of Emil Reichman & Nova (Allen) Reichman.
Nancy was a graduate of Bedford High School. She has worked many different jobs over the years but most would know her as the lovely receptionist at Bloom Bank. She loved going bowling when she and Mike were younger and they loved traveling together after their retirements.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, James Michael “Mike” East; sons, Joe David East and James Michael East, Jr., both of Linton; grandsons, Ryan East and Jeremy East, both of Terre Haute; great grandson, Matthew Ryan East of Terre Haute and sister, Sue Burton of Bedford.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Mary Brooking and Delores Hornocker.
Private services will be observed by her family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Welch & Cornett Funeral Home & Crematory, Linton Chapel.
