Marilyn Sue (Knepp) Knepp, 75, of Montgomery, Indiana, went to Heaven, with her loving family by her side, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at home. She was born on June 25, 1949 in Montgomery to David W. and Rachel (Miller) Knepp. Marilyn married her husband of 58 years, John G. Knepp on April 23, 1966.
Marilyn was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church. She was an amazing and loving wife, mother, grandmother and a private caregiver. Her faith in the Lord was beyond measure and she shared her love and faith with all who knew her. She enjoyed gardening, reading, quilting, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Family left to cherish the memory of Marilyn include: her husband, John G. Knepp; four daughters, Mary Jane Knepp, Barbara Ann Otto, Renee Dawn (Vernon) Wagler and Priscilla Rose (Michael) Malone; grandchildren, Cheney Dawn Wagler and (Derek Belcher), Stephanie Ann Otto, Ethan Michael (Jenna) Malone, Samantha Grace Wagler and Miriley Rose Malone; brother, Dewayne (Betty) Knepp and sister-in-law, Fannie Knepp.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, four infant sons, brother, Elmer Knepp, sisters, Wilma Graber and Catherine Yoder.
Funeral services to honor the life of Marilyn will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Bethel Mennonite Church, 14670 N 900 E, Odon with Carmen Detweiler officiating. Marilyn will be laid to rest in Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 14 and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 10:00 AM on Monday at the church.
