Diana Faye McCloud

Diana Faye McCloud, 77, passed away August 31, 2021 at her residence in Owensburg, she was born on January 24, 1944 to Frank and Lavera Brummett.

Diana worked at RCA, Sarkes Tarzian and Crane Officers Club for many years of her life. Diana was baptized in the late 1950’s by Merlie Craig in a creek called McClouds hole in Owensburg, she married Donald McCloud when she was sixteen and soon after they started their family, they were married for fifty-three years before Donald passed. Diana loved her family, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, they surrounded her on Sundays for great meals and she taught them unconditional love. Diana was always giving and never asking for anything in return, back in the day she could sing like Kittie Wells and Loretta Lynn, she loved playing euchre, rook, rummy, going to the casino and playing quarter at a time and fishing.

Diana is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Fred) Wright, sons, Dwane McCloud, Danny (Sherry) McCloud, one brother-in-law, Robert (Linda) McCloud, three sister-in-law’s, Judy Taylor, Pattie (Rick) Abel, Jessica Brummett, her grandchildren; Delaine (Adam) Brown, Delisa (Mike) Hintz, Darren (Jordan) McCloud, Dawn Jessie (Chazz) Pate, Dalton McCloud, Megan (Steve) Mersinger; her step-grandkids, Amy Dobbs, Jennifer Harshey; her great grandkids, Vivian, Jace, Addelynn, Amelia, Ava, Riley, Chris, Shorty, Dude, HarleyNoah Cammy, Joey, Dustie, Connor, Adam and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Diana was preceded in death by her husband Donald McCloud, Parents, brothers; Roger and Billy Bob Brummett, sisters, Linda Kidd, Amy Brummett, brother-in-law’s, Melvin Kidd, Phil Taylor, Demon McCloud, Bobby Skinner, sister-in-law’s, Sandy Skinner, Betsy Harris, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bob and Anna McCloud and nephew Allen Kidd.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. on Friday and 9 A.M. Saturday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Adam McCloud officiating. Burial will follow at Owensburg Cemetery.
