Deborah Rennier

Deborah “Debbi” Marie Rennier, 68, of Dugger, IN passed away Monday September 27, 2021 at her residence.

            She was born in La Porte, IN May 2, 1953 the daughter of Norman Oestermyer and Jeanette Hakes Oestermyer.

            She married Richard Rennier on November 26, 1994. Rich and Debbi were blessed with a happy marriage and were able to renew their wedding vows in a ceremony at their home to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary in 2019. Deborah graduated from Moody Bible Collage with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical counseling and was ordained as a minister in 2001. She also graduated from Master of Divinity College with a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical studies and preaching. For many years Debbi and Rich ministered to their community by establishing a food pantry and free store providing food, clothing and other household needs to many. Debbi was a faithful servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was dedicated to teaching the gospel to others. She enjoys walking with her cross in area parades and volunteering at a women’s ministry  in Linton, IN. Her ministry trips to Haiti and Alabama were special to her, she took great joy in hosting gatherings of Christian friends at her home as well as fishing and spending time with her husband, family, and close friends. She was a retired LPN. Debbi leaves theses words with all of you Just make Yeshua (Christ Jesus) in charge of all of you.

            Survivors include her husband, Richard Rennier of Dugger, IN, a son, Richard Rennier Jr. and (Gean) of Wanatah, IN., a daughter, Lisa Rennier of Dugger, IN, three grandchildren, Noah and Dylan Cooley and Kelsey Rennier.

            She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Vincent Oestermyer.

            Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN Thursday September 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.with Dan Barker and Paster Bob Metzgel officiating.  . Visitation will be Wednesday September 29, 2021 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Interment will be in Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, IN.
