Daniel (Dano) Ramsey
July 2, 1960 – December 21, 2020
Daniel A. Ramsey, 60, of Odon, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 21, 2020. He was born on July 2, 1960 in Hammond to Charles R. and Carolyn S. (McCullough) Ramsey.
Danny is survived by his of wife of 39 years, Debra (Bucher) Ramsey of Odon, mother Carolyn Armes of Washington, children Scott Steele, Elnora and Amber Steele Hudson (Jeremy) of Odon, sister Teresa Braun of Washington, brothers Chuck (Stephanie) of Elnora and Tim (Susan) of Martinsville, 8 grandchildren Nathan (Laura) Steele, Carter, Parker and Avery Steele all of Elnora, Bailee Parsons of Odon, Chase Hudson (Carly) of Terre Haute, and Bryleigh and Makenzie Hudson of Montgomery.
He was preceded in death by his father and infant brother.
Danny was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed volunteering with the Odon VFW Post 9627, helping where ever he was needed. He proudly participated with the Honor Guard providing Military Honors for passing veterans. He was a great man with a great spirit that will be truly missed.
Graveside memorial services for Dan will be held Saturday January 23 at 12:00 P.M. at Antioch Cemetery in Bloomfield, and 2:00 P.M. at Kilgore Cemetery in Odon. Please observe social distancing and masks are required. Arrangements are entrusted to Lester Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home.
