Barbara Rose Pearson, age 91, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 1:52 P.M. on Sunday, May 3, 2020, at her residence. Barbara was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana on February 17, 1929 to Virgil Leroy Lewellen and Mary Martha (Lewis) Lewellen.
Barbara enjoyed fleamarkets, doll collecting and painting. She was a homemaker and an excellent cook. She was well known for her hospitality, her soft-spoken mannerisms and for her proud devotion to her family and friends, especially lighting up when children or grandchildren were near.
Barbara is survived by her children; Patricia Bowman, Michael G. and wife Lily Pearson, Douglas Pearson, Gregory and wife Maggie Pearson and Lorie and husband Kenneth Conolty, grandchildren, Marcy Lane, Jacqueline Helton, Michael Pearson, Cassie Tussey, Adam Pearson, Katie Pearson, Jessica Earle, Laura Moore-Gelinas, Stephen Moore, Charity Inman, Jared Conolty, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; Gilbert Henry Pearson, whom she married in 1946, one daughter; Julie Ann Pearson; one grandson, Jeffrey Lane, two great-grandchildren; Jacob Lane and Jennifer Lane, two sisters; Mary Elizabeth Haston, and Marjory Ann Holcomb.

A private funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Gethsemane Tabernacle Church, 9 North County Road 70 E, Bloomfield. Pastor Richard Reed and Pastor Jerry Gholson will officiate. Burial will follow at Tulip Cemetery in Bloomfield.
A private visitation will be 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Thursday at the church.
