Area residents are once again contending with floodwaters, as recent rainfall began to overwhelm local infrastructure, leading to some flooding across the area.
Over the past week, Linton has experienced rainfall causing Linton’s Bee Hunter Ditch to swell beyond its typical levels, with gage heights recorded between about 4 – 8.37 feet from May 30th to earlier this morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, contributing to the area’s flooding issues.
