Linton-Stockton High School Class of 2025 Celebrates Graduation Milestone

LINTON, Ind. — In a proud and long-standing tradition, the Class of 2025 at Linton-Stockton High School gathered on the lawn in front of the school Thursday morning, donned in brilliant blue caps and gowns with striking red accents, for a final class photo before officially closing the chapter on their high school careers.

Set against the backdrop of the school’s historic limestone façade, the graduating seniors lined up beneath the carved “High School” inscription—an architectural nod to the generations of Miners who came before them. The moment was equal parts celebration, reflection, and anticipation.

For many in this tight-knit community, graduation is not just a rite of passage—it’s a community-wide event. School staff stood nearby with cameras and quiet pride, capturing the image of a class that weathered years of change, challenges, and triumphs.

“This class has shown resilience and grit,” one person observed. “From navigating post-pandemic transitions to excelling academically and athletically, they’ve set a high bar for those who follow.”

The Class of 2025 includes future tradesmen, college students, service members, and entrepreneurs—each ready to take a piece of Linton’s legacy into the world beyond. As they posed for photos one last time together, though, the focus was firmly on the present: friends, memories, and the shared sense of accomplishment that only a small-town school like Linton-Stockton can provide.

Graduation ceremonies are soon scheduled to be held in the high school gymnasium, where the seniors will walk the stage, flip their tassels, and begin the next chapter of their lives.

For Linton, it’s more than just another graduating class. It’s another generation of hometown pride.
