Coalheart: A local fictional superhero is born

Meet Coalheart. Linton meet Coalheart.

Now that the formal introductions are done, here’s a little portion of the backstory…

In southwestern Indiana lies the small mining town of Linton, where coal mines have been the lifeblood of the community for generations. Jake Carmichael, a former miner and multi-generation local, grew up hearing stories about the resilience of miners and their struggles beneath the earth. After a tragic mining accident left him as the sole survivor of a catastrophic collapse, Jake discovered he had absorbed a mysterious power from deep within the coal veins—a strange, otherworldly energy that had lain dormant for millennia.

Now, imbued with superhuman abilities and a deep sense of responsibility to protect his town, Jake became Coalheart, the guardian of Linton and its surrounding communities.

Darkvision: Like a miner in the depths, he can see perfectly in complete darkness.
