Cary Brett “Pugs” Wayman, 58 of Sullivan, Indiana passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 in Sullivan , Indiana. Brett was born December 13, 1965 in Sullivan, Indiana the son of Brent Wayman and Brenda (Davies) Wayman. He was a member of the Sullivan American Legion Post #139 and the Sullivan Moose Lodge # 2517. He was a 1984 graduate of Union High School in Dugger, Indiana. He was a coal miner at Bear Run and previously did mine construction. Survivors include his father, Brent Wayman (Judy) of Dugger, IN, mother, Brenda Davies Hutchison of Dugger, IN, his wife, Jennifer Trimble Wayman of Sullivan, IN, two step-sons, J.D. Horst of Naperville, Il, Skyler Thacker of Sullivan, IN, two brothers, Bart Wayman (Teresa) of Virginia, Larry Wolfe of Florida, one sister, Barbie Brock (Bub) of Dugger, IN, two step-grandchildren, Anna Horst, and Lily Horst, and two fur babies, Annie, and Thelma Lou. The family has chosen cremation and in lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association. In remembrance of Pugs, on Friday he had requested that everyone listen to Bob Seger “Like a Rock”
Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana.
