This October, Paint the Town Pink, a breast cancer awareness celebration, will mark an incredible 25 years of community impact, honoring the work of the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk Committee. This year, the committee will pass the torch to Cancer Support Community South Central Indiana (CSCSCI), ensuring that the inspiring legacy of Melody Martin lives on through continued advocacy and support for breast cancer survivors.

Melody Martin, a passionate advocate for breast cancer awareness, dedicated her life to encouraging women to take charge of their health, offering essential resources, and standing alongside them throughout their treatment journeys. Her spirit of celebrating survivors and offering support will continue through CSCSCI’s efforts, with a renewed focus on hope and a commitment to future generations.

“We invite the community to join us in celebrating our shared successes, while looking ahead to a future filled with hope, resources, and support,” said Stephanie Shelton, Development Manager. “Together, we can continue Melody’s incredible work and ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone.”
