Heading east into Linton, you will notice a giraffe on the south side of the road. Our poor friend, who has lost most of his coat color, looks over his fellow Linton citizens. Once part of a zoo of fiberglass animals that worked several local miniature golf courses, he has long since retired from the days of golf balls and putters. He may be looking a little weathered, but our aging friend still stands strong telling the local folks to keep their head up and expect great things ahead.
