The U.S. government revealed the newly redesigned $100 bill in a special ceremony. Chairman Ben S. Bernanke made some brief remarksat the unveiling event on April 21st at the U.S. Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. The new design features were made in an effort to thwart counterfeiting. Employees at local businesses should acquaint themselves with the new design, which will no doubt begin circulation into our community very soon.
