Duke Tumatoe to perform at The Old Bank on Nov. 1st

Duke Tumatoe, the infamous Midwestern bluesman, will return to Linton to perform on Saturday, November 1st at The Old Bank & Co. downtown. The event is being organized by the Linton Community Development Corporation (LCDC) to raise funds for their current renovation project at the former Kennedy Shoe Store building.

“This event is good for the downtown in two ways.”, said Jared Albright, President of the LCDC, “We’re able to bring visitors to the area for an evening of fun as we raise money to restore a downtown eyesore. We’re hopeful that our  guests will spend some time, and money,  in town before they take in the show.”

The show starts at 7:30pm with an opening act before Duke begins his set at 8pm and The Old Bank will have a cash bar available throughout the evening. Some tickets are still available and can be purchased at Linton Family Pharmacy, Francis’ Jewel Box, by phone at 866-615-5864, or online at LintonCDC.org.

“We encourage all music fans to take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy live music downtown, said Albright. We would also like to thank Jerry and Gayle Margraf for their generosity and willingness to host our event.”

The Linton Community Development Corporation is a 501c3 non-profit. Past community projects include the Linton Music Festival, Live streaming of Linton High School football at LintonMiners.com, and The Lintonian.
