Indiana Elite, one of the Nation’s largest and most successful youth basketball programs, will now have a presence in Greene County as a new team is being organized in Linton.
Last season, Indiana Elite had over 75 basketball teams all over the State of Indiana and the organization continues to produce many of the Nation’s top collegiate and NBA players including Cody Zeller, Eric Gordon, and Yogi Ferrell. The organization’s mission is to promote the continued development of young players as it relates to fundamentals of basketball, sportsmanship and athletic competition.
“We are extremely excited to be a part of one of the most prestigious basketball programs in the Country,” said Coach Jay Smith. “Our players will be building lifelong skills that extend far beyond the basketball court.”
Open tryouts for the 2015 Spring/Summer travel season will be held on September 20th at the newly-renovated Pleasantville gym in Pleasantville, Indiana. Tryouts are open to all boys in grades 4 through 11.
Session Schedule:

4th Grade Boys – 9am until 10:30am

5th Grade Boys – 10:30am until 12pm

6th Grade Boys – 12pm until 1:30pm
-
7th Grade Boys – 1:30pm until 3pm
-
8th Grade Boys – 3pm until 4:30pm
-
9th, 10th, & 11th Grade Boys – 5pm until 6:30pm
Each session will last approximately an hour and a half.
